Eagleheart completed this award winning medical design and fitout project at Greens Medical Group, in April 2022. The 380 square metre facility was a greenfield site, built in Dandenong South in Melbourne, Victoria. It is helping to accommodate the growing demand for General Practice, Allied Health and Specialist medical services in Melbourne’s south east. It is the sister clinic to Keys Medical Centre in Keysborough that is located nearby.
Patient, Nurse, and Doctor wellbeing was a focus during the design phase, taking into consideration workflows, ergonomic design and functionality. Careful consideration was made during planning with the site offering 12 consulting rooms, a 2-bed treatment room, on-site Pathology, X-ray and Ultrasound facilities, a separate nurses’ room, a spacious reception area and a 30-person waiting room. Full disability compliance was achieved, a requirement Eagleheart provides for all medical fitout and new build projects.
The result is a stunning architectural example of what a medical space can be, offering a warm, calm, and inviting environment from the moment patients arrive for their appointment.
UPDATE:
Since opening in April 2022, Greens Medical Group has been recognised as one of four Victorian Primary Priority Care Centres, supporting the emergency department at Dandenong Hospital in Melbourne’s South East.
Greens Medical Group now accept accept patients requiring urgent but non-critical medical care. They take patients with low acuity conditions, such as mild infections, fractures, burns or conditions that do not require an emergency response.
This is important support at a critical time for the hospital, with afterhours care from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week. This service helps manage the high demand within the emergency department, for patients requiring triage, during these hours.
Eagleheart assisted the client in their property search. It is a perfect example of Eagleheart assisting our client in their business planning for future growth, in an area where medical services are in extremely high demand.
