Eagleheart is pleased to announce the opening of a new General Practice and Allied Health clinic for the Family Clinics Group. Their latest GP Clinic in Caulfield South opened to patients in late March 2024, a project designed and constructed by Eagleheart Health Spaces.
Family Clinics Caulfield South is located within the newly constructed $154 million Calvary Bethlehem Health and Retirement Precinct. It is the former site of Bethlehem Hospital that served the community with maternity, surgical and palliative care services over its 80-year history.
Eagleheart’s involvement in this project commenced at the completion of the base build. The team developed the internal floorplans, design, and construction of the 270 sqm space, taking the project right through to client handover. The scope of work included sourcing of building permits, full design and documentation, internal construction, mechanical, fire services, electrical and full project management.
The GP clinic includes a spacious light filled reception and waiting room, administration, practice manager’s office, eight consulting rooms, a two-bed treatment room, pathology, staff room and amenities. Family Clinics Caulfield South is the third site for the Family Clinics group. Their other medical practices are in Armadale and Prahran.
Eagleheart completed the design and construction of their Prahran clinic in 2021, and their newest site in Caulfield South in March 2024. The team at Eagleheart wish the Director Luke Hurst and the team at Family Clinics, every success with their new clinic. This development is a significant investment in aged care health services for Melbourne’s inner south-east. It includes independent living units, a residential care facility, specialist palliative care services, allied health, and community care services.
Family Clinics Caulfield South is located within Calvary Kooyong Precinct. They provide medical support to their retirement, health and aged care residents. The clinic also has a special interest in supporting family, women’s, and men’s health for patients working and residing in the Caulfield and Glen Eira area. Their services include general practice consulting with pathology, geriatricians, and physiotherapists onsite to support patient needs.
