The project works were undertaken in the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic with strict protocols in place to ensure minimum disruption to patient appointments and daily operations of this extremely busy private hospital.
The extension has nearly doubled the size of Professor Ashton’s medical suites, allowing him to accommodate greater patient numbers. The space includes additional consulting rooms, an ample reception and waiting area, and a dedicated staff kitchen.
Professor Mark Ashton is one of the leading Melbourne-based plastic surgeons, specialising in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, abdominoplasty, and facial aesthetic surgery. He is the clinical Professor of Surgery and Honorary Professor of Anatomy at the University of Melbourne, and Chair of Plastic Surgery at Epworth Freemasons Hospital.
